At our meeting on May 12th it was agreed to table our current direction of forming a "Metro Council". Instead, it was agreed that we form sub-groups around topics that might present Regional Collaboration and/or Coordination opportunities. Possible groups include Public Safety, Assessing, Economic Development , Education, Transportation, Zoning and Inspections. I look forward to getting the groups formed and kicked off to begin the dialogue about the different possibilities that could improve service and/or save money and improve our image as Regional Community !
